The Ambassador! !
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Ambassador!
La Pyramide was honoured to receive a visit from
the Ambassador of the United States of America,
Craig Roberts Stapleton and his wife.
The Ambassador and his wife were visiting Vienne for
the signing of a partnership agreement between the
town of Greenwich and our town.
It was on this occasion that the Ambassador and his
wife stayed at our hotel, Hôtel de la Pyramide,
where they also had the pleasure of sampling
the menu prepared by Patrick Henriroux.
They stayed with us between the signing of the
agreement and a tour of the town of Vienne.
The cherry on the cake came when Patrick Henriroux
served as their personal guide to the market of Vienne.
Greenwich will be the eighth foreign town
to be twinned with Vienne.
